黄色い風船 Yellow Balloon

イギリスのアーティスト、Louise Walkerさんのパターンで

小さな黄色の風船を編んでみました。

増し目が初めてだったので、かなり苦戦しましたが

なんとか編む事が出来ました。

Louiseさんは毛糸を使って様々な作品を編まれているのですが

どれも素晴らしい作品で惚れ惚れしてしまいます。

毛糸で編んだ髪やキツネのマフラーやフクロウの編みぐるみなど

どれもオリジナルティ溢れる素敵な作品で

これからの活躍がとても楽しみです。

ご本人もとても可愛らしくて、彼女が編む作品がぴったりです♡

この小さな風船は編んでいて面白いので

色々な色の毛糸で編んでみようと思っています。

I knitted a tiny yellow balloon with using a pattern of

Louise Walker who is an artist in United Kingdom.

"KFB"is a little difficult to understand but somehow I could knit.

Louise knitting many many wonderful things

and all of her works are very charmed.

Knitted hair,a fox scarf,knitting owl...

every knitting works has originality and charms.

I am looking forward to see her next projects.

Louise herself is also lovely ♡

This tiny balloon is really fun to knit,so I am thinking to knit

many types of balloon with using many color yarns.

どんぐりマフラー Acorn Scarf ③

今年の9月から編み始めたどんぐりマフラーがようやく編み上がりました。

白とライトグレーとグレーの3色ボーダーマフラーです。

編み始めた頃は、正直最後まで編めると思っていなかったので

編み上がったマフラーを眺めていると感慨深いです。

不器用だから、と始める前から諦めている事が多い私にとって

編み上げる事が出来たのはあらゆる意味で自信に繋がりました。

どんな事でも始める前から諦めては駄目だとという事にも気づかされました。

今後、何かに挑戦する時にはこのマフラーを見て

最後まで諦めないようにとことん努力しようと思います。

くまに巻いてみましたがいかがでしょうか？

ウール100％なのでとても暖かくて気持ちが良いです。

I finally finished knitting an acorn scarf which started on this September.

This scarf is a border style with using white,light grey and grey yarns.

I didn't think that I couldn't knit this scarf to the end so

I am filled with deep emotion when I look at this acorn scarf.

I always giving up when I start something because of my awkwardness,

so this knitting project gave me a confidence in many ways

and also I realized that I shouldn't give up whatever before start something.

I put my acorn scarf to my teddybear,what do you think?

This scarf is made by 100% wool so it's warm and feels great.

ロシアの毛糸 Russian Yarns

父がロシアの毛糸屋さんで毛糸を買ってきてくれました。

私なら選ばない柿色、赤、ピンクの毛糸が逆に新鮮です。

船場近くにある毛糸屋さんには漁師さんが案内してくれたそうです。

いいなぁ、私もいつか行きたいです。

ここの毛糸屋さんで毛糸を買って船の中で編み物をするのでしょうか。

ロシアの毛糸は大きいので、一玉でマフラーやミトンが編めてしまいそう。

赤とピンクの毛糸はモヘヤ素材なのでレーシーなストールを、

白とベージュと柿色の毛糸ではミトンを編んでみようと思っています。

My dad bought me yarns from Russia.

I won't usually choose yellowish brown,red and pink yarns,

so I feel freshness about that.

The yarns shop near at quay,so fisherman take my dad to the shop.

I wish I could go to the shop someday in the near future.

I imagine that people living in Russia buy some yarns at this shop

and enjoy knitting on a ship.

Russian yarns are very big so I think we could knit a scarf or mittens

only use one ball of yarns.

I am thinking to knit a lacy stole using red and pink mohair yarns,

and to knit mittens with using white,beige and yellowish brown.

どんぐりマフラー Acorn Scarf ②

どんぐりマフラー、白からライトグレーに突入しました。

 

ライトグレーに突入してから編み目を見てみると

どうしてもアルマジロの背中に見えてしまいます。

でもアルマジロのことが好きなのでいいのです。

むしろ愛着すら湧いています。

 

この後、少し濃いめのグレーに突入しますが

さらにアルマジロの背中になるだろうねぇ。

My acorn scarf moved white into light grey.

This pattern looks like an armadillo's back

when it moved into light grey.

But it's fine with me because I love this unusual creature.

After knitted with this light grey yarn,

it will move into a dark grey,

so it looks more like an armadillo's back.

Timberwolf牧場の毛糸 Timberwolf Farm Yarns

お店deux billetsで扱っているTimberwolf牧場の毛糸は、

オレゴン州カスケード山麓で作られています。

牧場ではIngeborgさんWolfさんご夫婦が

12頭のひつじと2頭のアルパカと一緒に暮らしています。

お二人は2006年にドイツにあるブレーメンから

この農場へ移ってきました。

毛糸は全て手作業でひつじとアルパカの毛を刈り、

紡績工場で毛糸にして地元のファーマーズマーケットなどで

販売しています。

奥さんのIngeborgさんはドイツで医師、

ご主人のWolfさんは獣医をしていた事もあり

動物たちの健康や環境に気を配り

自然のままの状態で毛糸を作り上げる事にこだわっています。

deux billetsでご紹介している毛糸は

色付けされていない自然のままの色ですが

色付けされた毛糸も庭で育てた

無農薬の野菜やハーブを使って染められています。

毛糸にはそれぞれ、使われたひつじとアルパカの

写真と名前が付いたラベルが巻かれているので

編んでいる時も編み終わった後も

動物たちの事を想いながら愛着を感じて頂けます。

Timberwolf Farm Yarns which we sold at our shop"deux billets"

are made in the foot hills of Oregon's Cascade Mountains.

In the farm,Ingeborg Krebs and Wolf Krebs lives with

12 sheeps and 2 alpacas.

They move to this farm from Bremen,Germany in 2006.

They shear wool from their sheeps and alpacas

by their hands and it turned into yarns

from a spinning mill and they sold it at local farmers market.

Ingeborg was a doctor and Wolf was a vet at Germany,

so they pay careful attention to their animals health

and also their environment and make yarns as natural condition.

We sold undyed yarns at our shop,

but they also make yarns dyed by an organic plants and herbs.

Each of yarns wrapped by the label with

their sheeps and alpacas name and photo,

so we could think of them when we knitting

using their yarns and feel happy.
